A small group of students will be assisting Dr. Robert Cotter, with the installation of Fedora Linux on several machines, along the way getting to play with the Linux platform.

Do I need to bring along anything?
Answer
You do not need to bring anything, although you may want to bring along a snack as we have not decided on providing stacks.

Can I bring my own machine?
Answer
You can bring and use your own machine. However, if you do choose to do so it is suggested that you do not use your primary machine as it is likely that you are not yet enough familiar enough with the platform -- however, the choice is yours.

Do we get anything for showing up?
Answer
Yes, you will be be given the Fedora install media which you used, along with a LiveCD of another, more new-user friendly Linux distribution called Ubuntu.
