ACM Board
The following roles currently exist within the board of the UMKC student chapter of the ACM.
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
A fifth, appointed role also exists, 'Faculty Adviser', but as implied is never up for election and is always filled by a faculty member.
No position on the UMKC ACM Board is a paid or credited position. All time and effort is voluntary.
President
The president is responsible for the overall management of the chapter, including, but not limited to acquisition of funds, organization of events, seeking of speakers, enhancement of the chapter, and delegation of some tasks to other board members.
Vice-President
The vice-president is responsible for providing support to the president, and substiuting for the president when necessary.
Secretary
The secretary is responsible for the collection of meeting minutes, and other paper work of importance to the chapter. The secretary is also responsible for scheduling and promotion of events, and activities.
Treasurer
The treasurer is responsible for the detailed management of the chapters funds, which include, but is not limited to, documentation of all transactions, and acquisition of funds.
